Hey guys! Yesterday I worked on thinking of my print component so, today I guess I'll show you guys the leotards I'm looking into.
This first one would be for the beginning before the transition happens.
These are a few examples for the print component I am doing. Because I’m doing the documentary, I’m using a magazine to promote the film.
The following magazines are great ideas on how I want to make my magazine. I want to have a big title and let it be in the center of the paper. I don’t want the title to be as long as the second example though. I really like the way it’s laid out. In the first example, I think the captioning looks good with the piece of description below the image of radios pretty much saying it’s available on videocassette. They are also saying in the magazine, that their is just an audio version too. It allows the audience to get a gist of what the magazine is about just by the font and pictures.
The second magazine inspo is really cool as well however, like I said I would personally use a smaller title and, this one is more tough to understand at first. This is promoting a certain home projector that they are trying to show. At first, I thought it had to do with promoting a film which led to some confusion which isn’t great. The image they used could lead to very broad expectations so, I would try to be more descriptive.
Both of these magazines are very good examples I’ll look at when creating my print component. A few changes I would make is adding page numbers on the bottom page, being more descriptive, and adding in pictures that match what I’m talking about.
Welcome back! Day 2 of my week five blog. Wow that was a terrible intro. Anyways, I have some really really exciting news! I talked in one of my previous blogs about how I'm going to Europe this summer and, my dad booked this "Mama Mia the party", that looks so fun so i'm very excited now. Moving on with the project itself, I don't have too many updates but, I'm working on the shot list and on it, is a cool idea I thought of where I turn it broad daylight and then, as the turn develops it turns into dark with led lights and everything. For the camera movement during this I thought a tracking shot could work decently. For this, I would want to use different costumes too. One that is brighter and then one that goes to a dark blue shiny leotard. I'm going to be using the store called "dance wear solutions". Tomorrow I should have some leo ideas I'm buying yay!
Hey guys! This week is gonna be a rough one because, I have cheer tryouts... but it's ok, we will pull it together! I also have the SAT on Saturday ew just ew. As you know, last week I created my social media page. Sometime next week I want to start posting on it! Now it's time to discuss the bad news. So, the led lights I ordered from amazon actaully got delayed from delivering so because of that, I'm either going to have to postpone my filming ,or I'm gonna have to find a way to film without them but, I feel like it's a big aspect of the film so I think I'll probably just postpone the filming. Next post I will hopefully actually have some progress...
Welcome back bloggers! This week we accomplished getting the social media platform set up as well as making my logo. Like I said before, I really like how the logo came out. I think it matches the entire theme of the documentary and I hope that it’ll stay that way. The instagram profile is now set up too but I haven’t posted yet. For my first post, I’m thinking it could be a picture of someone dancing while keeping the blue/purple lighting. I was also going to mention in today’s post that, I purchased pretty cool lights for when filming.
Hey there! Currently I’m so so tired but at least we were somewhat productive so far this week. As of today, I don’t have anything newly planned out. I’m just thinking about some ideas I can post on social media like instagram and, I’m working on my shot list. Once that is ready (praying it’ll be done by sometime next week), I will include it in one of the blog posts.
Welcome back bloggers! As you know, I have now created my logo so, that means the next step is to create my social media account. In the previous blog I said I will be using instagram, and as of right now that is still the plan. The way it took me like five minutes to see how to add a new account… anyways, now it’s all set up! I’m planning on posting my first post sometime next week! The username is agame_568. Don’t worry I didn’t forget to mention that this is a school project lol.
