Hey blog! In my last blog posts, I talked about the change I made about filming as well as the production on the film process. Oops, I definitely did not mix these out of order. I actually said this time I’m going to make my blogs in order and now what did I do! :\
It’s ok though, we will get there eventually! Anyways, today I will be talking about the key moments I have had so far this week in the making of my project! Over the course of this weekend, I decided that I will be using a tripod and, my phone for the filming equipment! Since I knew this wouldn’t be as great as an actual filming camera, I decided to watch some tutorials on YouTube to look for ideas on how to make your videos look better by using a few tactics! The first idea one video mentioned was, to use your iPhone in the portrait mode. The reason they suggested this is because, the camera creates a depth of field effect! This didn’t help at all though because, I found out that the portrait mode is only used for photos! Ugh…
After I realized that, I watched a separate video that talked about an app called, “ProMovie Recorder”. They mentioned that the app is easy to use and, it also takes control of exposure, focus, frame rate and other aspects that I may need! There’s even different focus points! Right now, my plan is to use this app! See you next week blog! :)
